15 year old popping shoulder

Hello I have a concern and is why i am here. I am 15 years old and i can pop or click both of my shoulders at will. It all started because i have a weak posture. my back is not straight and it looks like it somewhat bends. my shoulders are not alligned my left shoulder cap like bends a little downward and my right is what i think to be normal and is why i tried pulling my left shoulder backwards to make it look straight but because my bag has some weight in it and i wear it almost most of time because of school I started to feel pain and before I knew I can do that popping like thing on my left shoulders it became a habit and now i can do it with my right shoulders also. i always do this maybe it is an addiction because its hard for me not to do so i feel uneasy and now most of the time i feel pain on my shoulders even if i do it or not. what should i do? i also have narrow shoulders does this popping thing hinder the broadening of my shoulders? my dad also has narrow shoulders so maybe its just in the genes. im really conscious of my shoulders because it looks like im younger than my age because i have a big head and a narrow body because of my shoulders and it does not look proportional at all (it doesnt look great)

Hi Rondo, perhaps you need to talk to your parents & they can take you in to see your dr to have things checked out. The dr should be able to help out by giving you some exercises to help with your posture.

Your book bag should not be heavy as that will affect your posture & can cause unwanted issues. If I remember correctly a book bag should not weigh more than 10% of your body weight. I have a 12 yr old grandson who is small. One thing his parents do is to make sure the bag is not too heavy.

heavy lifting can cause lombroscal spine. i have sublax shoulders, and disc bulges. plus arthritis. best talk with ya doc. let us know how it goes.
