In the last two years I have been suffering from abdominal pain.after suffering from more than a year I got it diagnosed. Its erosive antral gastritis. Now I am on medication for last six months. Before my disease's diagnosis I had a few symptoms which similar to some of the symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Like when my abdominal pains would increase there were multiple bouts of swollen muscle at my right elbow joint which caused pain. These bouts of swollen muscle at right elbow joint each lasted for one/two/three weeks then went away on their own.It was different each time as far as I remember.

These bouts continued to happen for like a year more or less,as far as I remember.I also suddenly noticed at some point both my foot's big toes nails have moved or angled inward or towards the other toes of foot.

Now I don't have those swollen muscle bouts with pain in my right elbow any longer.Though I still have my both foot's big toe nail angled towards my other toes.

So aren't these symptoms kind of match symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis?Should I consult a rheumatologist?
Any one have anything to share with me from their experience with this disease.

Btw is there any pm system on this this forum or not?So I can send a pm.

Gastritis is a condition that anyone can get. The lining of the stomach has inflammation. It can be caused by infection, use of NSAIDS or even alcohol to name a few. With the proper treatment it should clear up but often takes time. Your joint issues do not have anything to do with gastritis. You could have some regular arthritis going on. It would be best to see a dr while you are having issues at the time.

Sorry, but Healing Well does not have PM.

Take care.
