Good Morning,
As I said in a previous post that my PCP was checking me out for a heart problem.  Underwent stress test on Wed.  Normal.  Next Tuesday will be an echocardiogram.  I feel this will be normal as well.  I had C4-C5 fusion two years ago when I was having symptoms similar to what I am experiencing.  I woke on night about 3 a.m. and felt like I was having a heart attack.  I had pain across the back of my shoulders, then spasm and then numbness.  They found two ruptured discs and a bone spur.  The surgery was done and all was well until now.  My PCP suggested maybe it was my neck?  Only one disc was repaired because the doc said the other was not as bad as he orginally thought.  I might add that this is the 4 discs that have ruptured (two in the lower back, and two in the neck).  Should I ask to have an MRI or CT again?  See the neurologist and orthopedist first?  I just don't know.  The numbness is now mostly in the left arm and hand but the right palm is numb as well.  I am not sure I want to do this again?  Any advice?  I did check the site on spondylosis.  The doctor said from the CT two years ago there was none.  Thanks for the help.  Bunee

Hmmm, maybe one of our experts here can give you more advice.

My personal feeling is, a lot can happen in 2 years and an updated scan should be done if you are having so many problems.

Keep pursuing this until you get  a doctor willing to help you get to the bottom of this and start getting you some relief. I know how frustrating this is, I've been there.
Take care **
