Hi Everyone. I hope all of you are hanging in there the best that you can. I went to the rheumy on Friday for my test results. He said that my bloodwork was consistant with RA but my Dexascan showed very bad OA. He ordered more bloodwork and a 48 hour unine. Has anyone had to do this 48 hour urine? And also whatever advice or comments you can post on information about OA would be helpful and greatly appriciated. I haven't started my Remicade infusions yet. There is a problem with my insurance. Hopefully I will get it all worked out soon. I am back to work though. I was glad to go back. I really missed my job. Well i'm off to bed, I have to work tomorrow morning. Thanks for listening.

Andrea Hi and Welcome to HW,

I am sorry that you are having to deal with this arthritis is no fun my no means.I have crohns,oa,ra,as and Sejerens as well so I can relate to were you are coming from.

I will try to help you the best I can.Ok RA can come on all the sudden as to were oa is a gradural (sp)thing meaning that you can have oa for along time and not know it because it takes time for it to show up and time before it makes you start having pain from it.

I my self Have oa in my left ankle and my left knee infact I'm fixin to have replacement soon.

Have you been put on any meds?I noted to where you are waiting to get Remicade.Remicade is a good drug and it has helped alot of people to be able to get there life back sorta speak, but please remember that every one reacts different ley to meds.

Please let us know how the test comes back and please know that you are welcome any time.
