Well, went to the rheumy for my lesson on Enbrel and gave myself my first shot.  Not so bad really.  The ortho is downstairs so I stopped in and asked about a walking cast since I couldn't use crutches at work.  They put me in one but doc said he isn't sure this is going to really help and if not then he is going to take me off work for another week.  Ouch!  Can't afford to do that.  Anyhow while talking to the rheumy I mentioned about how work is treating things and said how I fear the future holds little promise if the RA were to get worse and I might need an assistive device.  They too thought it was a concern and filled out FMLA paperwork.  Saying this is documentation of a long term condition and it will cover my butt, so to speak in case issues were to arise in the future.  I worry about giving it to my employer but it has to be done.  Will let you guys know how things go.
Thanks for being such a wonderful support team.
