My hubby is the most stubborn man I've ever met!!  After playing softball with our girls today, his knees looked rough.. and he will NOT go make an appt. to get them looked at. So I'll toss the description out here, and see if it looks like arthritis, k?

He's a "carrot" top, so he always has this reddish sunburned looking tint to his skin..lol.. but his knees turned bright red/purple. And I know they were swollen, b/c I was drawing smiley faces on his knee caps and they stayed there for a few seconds..lol. (I'm a horribly smart alecked wife, but was trying to get the Hey ..Knees Swollen point across). His knee caps seemed to be not in the proper place either.. he's never been "knock kneed" but he looked like it when he sat down after playing today. Can arthritis cause this?
I'm not procrastinating----I'm still doing yesterday!!!!

Hey Sarah... just from what you described, yes, it sounds like arthritis... :( is there heat radiating from his knees? Has he complained of any pain? Men! I tell ya (no offense Craig, Dave and others) but good lord... they are stubborn! How is he feeling? Did he try icing them down to help with the swelling? Can he take some Aleve or Advil? I hope your Carrot Top is doing ok... sending him big hugs {{{{{[[[[[(((((SARAH'S CARROT TOP)))))]]]]]}}}}}... Let us know how he is doing..
