They need to check out why your glands are swollen. Did they test you for mono or other viral illnesses? I didn't know Sjogrens caused swollen lymph nodes. That is more concerning than the dry eyes and mouth.
I was diagnosed from a lip biopsy. I was sero negative and they had no idea what I had. I had symptoms for 8 years and I am very glad I got the biopsy. I guess there are other tests for the flow of saliva but my rheumy said if the biopsy is positive, it's definitive. The biopsy hurt for a few days afterwards but to get the diagnosis, it was well worth it for me. Now, I have peace of mind. MIne was done by a board certified ENT. The saliva glands on the lip are really tiny. If a Dr causes nerve damage, they should have their license revoked.
If you feel like you need a second opinion, get one, if you can, in your health system.
