I have a friend whose story sounds very much similar to yours. She had gone to multiple therapists, tried many different meds, and nothing. Finally, she started seeing her current therapist, who was certified in all these "new age" (for lack of a better word) therapy techniques, breath work, hypnotherapy, ect. I've seen a dramatic change in her over the past few years after seeing this doc.

Hi Tristen,

Good to meet you, welcome to Healing Well. It must be rough having gone through so many things with no relief. Do you have a regular doctor or just not bother anymore? Like you, I'm in a place right now where I'm really depressed and no one can pinpoint what's wrong with me. None of my meds are really working as they should, my head just buzzes and I feel like dead weight. It's awful. We're still looking for reasons though, my docs and I.

Hi tristen,

Welcome to HW.  I am sorry you are having such a hard time.  (((((hugs))))) for the depression.  It's so awful.  The minute I saw your subject "depressed" I wanted to reach out.  Being depressed is the worst feeling.  Try to do something to help yourself feel better; I know it's hard.  But even doing one little thing that might work to bring even temporary relief is worth it.  I know it takes a lot of effort, but even that effort can make you feel good about yourself.  Have shower/bath, maybe buy a little something for yourself (book, if you like to read...)  Can you call a friend to come over or something...I know what you are going through; we all do.

I understand what you are saying about meds, etc.  It's so frustrating.  Do you have a psychiatrist?  Maybe asking your doc or pdoc if you have one if they can refer you to something different, like a support group...?  We are here for you.  Posting here does help.  The chat rooms also help me when I'm depressed.

I hope you are well today, keep us updated.

hey nice to meet you. I can honestly say I understand how you feel, I've been feeling the same way lately but hey you're doing good just by posting this message and being able to say that you understand whats wrong and that youre at a loss and just need help.

medicines were never right with me i tried a few and i just got scared and quite trying after a personal experience, but i love to talk to people just talking really helps me... except now my depression and sucicdal thoughts are coming more intense which is why i am deciding to try another medicine while still talking to someone...

its sounds like you just need someone to talk to, maybe someone that has been through what you're going through rather then someone who doesn't understand...

you can talk to me anytime.

i hope things begin to get better for you, i know in time things will, you just have to try.
