Welcome to HealingWell and to the bipolar forum.
What a way to find out about bipolar! Well, you don't have a definite diagnosis yet, you still need to see a qualified doctor to get a true evaluation of your psychiatric state, so I'd do that as soon as possible. I'd REALLY recommend going to a psychiatrist for this (as opposed to a gp or pcp) because they just know so much more about the field, obviously. They just are so much more adept at recognizing the varieties of experience. They can tell a bad mood from hypomania, for instance. (Hopefully.) But obviously, you'll do what you have to.
I wish you the best. Stick around. We'd love to hear how your doctor's appointment turns out, and there's a lot of people here for support if you do indeed have bipolar.
