Hi, I hope this doesn't offend anyone and I know this is probably the wrong place to do this. I was looking for a forum for dissociative identity disorder and after registering and logging in was not able to access any posts. I'm sure there must be some screening process I have to go through, or something, like making contact with the forum moderators and asking permission. I really have no idea how to do that and was hoping maybe someone here who is a moderator might be able to point me in the right direction?

Well mabey you can find on the web a support base message forum for your dissorder. I dont think they discriminate at all for anyone comeing here with whatever mental issue you have. I think it would be good for you to explain it, tell your story and you might be surprised at who might respond who might not otherwise would. I support you and think its great you came in. Nancyjay

Hi delias,

Welcome to HealingWell and the bipolar board.
HealingWell doesn't have a forum for dissociative identity disorder. If you are interested in one of the other related groups: anxiety and panic, depression, or bipolar, you are of course welcome in any of them.

I don't know why you weren't able to access posts. Were you simply trying to read the rest of the forum or make new posts?

I'm not too sure, I was looking for forums using a search engine, and it said there was one here for DID, so i followed the link and logged in and it said I wasn't 'authorized' to view any posts, but that was for the phantom dissociative identity disorder 'forum'. I guess it is just one of those unexplained incorrect cyber-links, or something.???

It was nice to get such a warm welcome from people though. Thanks. :)
