I was in remission for a long time but now i feel like my me need to be re evaluated. can anyone relate? taking so many meds and i have alot of side affects as well But i have got to hang in there and try whatever he recommends. i hope he puts me in the hospital tuesday bacause i have totally gotten to the point that I cant cope at all. I take five meds nancyjay. I'm not happy about it, but if that's what it takes, then I live with it. I've talked to my doc about it and she definitely doesn't want to change anything -- so I'm trusting her for now. Talk to your doc, especially if you're having side effects which you don't want to tolerate, and see if you can't eliminate some of those if you want to. The hospital is a good place to change meds.

my husband takes 17 pills a day. b/t his anxiety meds, anti-depressent, anti-psychotic and T3's for pain, he's taking pills all throughout the day. I don't know how he does it... i'm not that disciplined!

It's been a while since I sat down and counted my meds...  But I take A LOT.  Oh yeah, what I take is listed in the "sig" space at the bottom of the post.  BUT I take Lexapro & Wellbutrin, Topamax, & Clonapin AT LEAST for my Bi-polar Disorder...  AND this is while I've been "completely stable" for a number of years!!!
I moved & a new Doc wanted to mess with my meds, asking me if I ever tried LITHIUM--like that wasn't the FIRST thing they tried 20 years ago!!!  And he won't give me my Ulcerative Colitis Meds, unless I agree to go OFF one of the antidepressants--'cause "Reglan" has a risk of causing Tardive Dyskinesia!  NOW my UC is ALL F-d up, AND I think I need a little HIGHER dosage of the LEXAPRO!!!
