Relationships are hard, so I wanted to start a thread for us to love on our BF's, SO's, and DW / DH's.
I've been with my SO for almost a year.  After the first month or two, I remember commenting to a close friend, "I neve knew relationships were supposed to be this good!"  (I was also in year-long hypomanic episode and before being diagnosed).  I still repeat that comment often to myself.
Yesterday, he brought me a bouquet of flowers.  The note says, "I never knew how great love could be."

My husband is Bipolar like me so these last 12 years have been quite a ride!
We are both on meds and in therapy and our relationship has never been better!
It took us awhile to get it right but most of the time it is blissful.
