With my own moods...
I dont have a pdoc as I have only moved here 6 weeks ago , I am looking for one , but when you dont have insurance its hard to say the least.
Yesterday morning and afternoon , I was mildly depressed..  Last night I was better... bouncy and talkative... This morning I woke up feeling good .. then after my coffee I felt tired and sluggish again ... Then all of a sudden I felt manic    BAD   I had a rush of ideas and thought about not getting on the plane tonight bc of everything I would miss here this weekend. I rushed out and spent a lil money on something I didnt need and my heart was pounding , The music was not lous or fast enough , but I sang at the top of my lungs anyway , I ran two red lights and almost hit a car.  For the past hour I felt invincible. I was thinking to myself , I better slow down before I get pulled over... The next thought was , no cop is goin to give me a ticket .. NOT ME     Why ? Because I am ME....
Im ok now... still jittery and want to paint the wall or something stupid like that.... Im having trouble finding the energy to do the things I WANT to do ... and that is agitating....

Caffiene takes my ultra-rapid cycling to ultraradian.  Not cool.

Good luck finding a pdoc - stay safe!!

The best advice I can give you for this is to MOOD CHART!! You can find them online, and I prefer to print them out....I rapid cycle (mood changes in a day, or hour). It is so good to use when you do see a pdoc and the most excellent resource for yourself. I will post the one I use below (Hope that is okay???)

http://www.bipolar-lives.com/bipolar-mood-chart.html and I use chart link number 1.

It helps me figure out how I am following my med routine, marks my anixety, irritability....you can add notes about caffiene...you can look up other ones too.

Honestly, it only takes a few minutes each day to do this and being bipolar I feel it's so important to do it, because how many times do we see our pdocs and they ask us how many times in one week/day did you do/feel this??? How many doses of your med(s) have you missed? How many hours of sleep a night are you getting...etc....etc...I pull out my chart and answer all his questions; it is very very helpful to us both.

Bipolar II, Anxiety/Panic Disorder
Clonazepam .5mg as neededMethoprazine 12 mg/day, Mirapex working up to 2.25 mg/day, Lamictal 400mg/day
