I'll start, and i'll name three.
1. My mom came thru her surgery with flying colors, now we just have to wait for the results of the oncolgy to see if it was cancer or not.
2. My wife and i had a great  evening  smilewinkgrin   smilewinkgrin smilewinkgrin   smilewinkgrin   smilewinkgrin was so perfect that after it was over i cleaned the kitchen, made a huge fruit salad, and cleaned out the refrigritor. God i love hypomanic moments. LOL LLOL LOL
3. While i was at my Mom's in Pittsburgh, i took my big puppy with me. While we were out walking a man came out and asked if that was a Bernese Mountain Dog. He said he had only seen them on tv, and had wanted one for the family. He asked if we would wait so he could go get the family. Out of the house comes a ton of kids, and Thor was fantastic, shaking hands with them, giving them kisses, being a wonderful gentle lamb of a dog with tons of young kids just surrounding him.
It was a great time for thor and us, and i really think that after that introduction that family is now Berner lovers for sure.
Ok, thats three good things that happened to me this week. Three good things in the midst of a major mania attack, working like a madman, and having issues in my marriage.
Thats three great things i was glad to be there for.  I cant wait to hear about yours.

Went to the gym with my teen aged son; worked out, swam together, and sat in the sauna and hot tub.
It was awesome to hang out with him and get those endorphins pumping!

Usually I don't have a hard time with this, but this week...  harder.

My SO just bought a Ford Explorer and he is so happy to have a vehicle that can pull his boat.  We live near a very green, sludgy lake.  Yesterday, we pulled out the boat and drove about 20 minutes to a beautiful clear lake.  It was so neat to be able to watch a fish come up to the bait and I learned how to set the hook better once I could see what was going on.  The fish I caught were tiny (3"!) so I was able to handle them well enough to learn how to take hooks out.  we all got sunburned!

There was a lot of bad, but I guess it was a good day.

So has been working with my son and he isn't nearly so afraid of water anymore.  He actually GOT IN THE LAKE!  shocked   And waded up to his thighs.  He walked with me deeper and practiced "putting his feet up" - letting me hold him afloat in the water.  He even sat with me and had his legs in the water while we were fishing off the boat.

I am over my fear of riding city buses.  Although I still would have anxiety about times and routes and stuff.  Good thing I just ride with clients aimlessly, training the service dos.

Good question Bill, with all that's going on, I really had to struggle to come up with something.

One of my best friends will be returning from two years of studying in the Netherlands--she's coming home in 6 weeks. She asked me to look into getting her a job here at the hospital with any of the psychiatrists I work with and I actually ended up getting her an interview! Honestly it was the best feeling I've had in so long. It really made my day to give her that news!

Thanks for posting this topic; needed to reflect.

Doing volunteer work and getting thanked heartily for it. Having the person for whom I volunteered excitedly tell other folks, "She wants to do an internship here when she's in graduate school!" Helped a friend clear out stuff in her house--her mother recently died, and she's struggling to either recycle, throw away, or donate stuff, because she simply doesn't have room for everything--and received profuse thanks from her for how much I helped her, when I didn't feel I'd done much of anything. Made some inroads in cleaning my house, a task I never enjoy. Tried to look at things from the dog's eye point of view when I took my dog for a walk and noticed fascinating flowers and insects.

Thank you for bringing up this topic. It was hard to think of things to be grateful for, but you made me do it.

Thankfully yours,
Invega, 1.5 mg; Clonazepam, 0.5 mg prn; Lexapro, 5 mg; Mirapex, 2.5 mg; Topamax, 50 mg

confused  Wow...I'm still having problems with this one! I'll get back to you near the end of the week and hopefully I'll have something to share?

P.S. Thanks Bill for the as moderator! I've been away for a veeerrrrryyyy  long time, (or so it seems).  People like you who devote their time to help are really special!

Went camping yesterday. I chickened out and came home at night - couldn't sleep in a tent with must me and my son! We reserved the campsite in advance for the holiday weekend and pitched a tent. Staying home today, then going back tomorrow through Sunday.

Took my dog dock diving - he is getting good! Lots of fun. Going to do it again today.

10fold your post made me smile.  :)  I'm feeling like there's not much "best" this week, although I am still aware enough now to KNOW that I'm getting into a mood.
