I recently gave my husband this website/forum to come to when he had questions about my moods or condition that he may be afraid to ask me. I see other spouses come here for support but I don't necessarily want him reading the turmoil I sometimes go thru. I'm torn between wanting him to have some understanding what it's like for me and the fear that it's just another way to check up on me. He doesn't know my user name but it wouldn't be too hard to figure out if he read my posts.

It's a hard one, this was YOUR safe place to be whatever you are at the time you are posting.......and now you are vunlerable as you have allowed someone into your very honest personal sharing space.

It would be a diservice to you, if you felt you started to hold back what you really wanted to say out of fear that Hubby may read it.

My fiance knows I post here - I gave him the link one time when I wanted him to know what I was going through. He doesn't look - told me "I'm not going to read that tortoise stuff anymore!" lol

Why WOULD you want to hide? How can he support you when he has NO idea what is going on?

I explain as best I can to him and I want to encourage him to learn more and have a place he can go for answers (BUT) he also has a tendency to be controling and munipulative without meaning to be? Maybe? Idk

I can understand.  I've been to a few places where I could vent and my husband found them.  Not that he was snooping but you know how it goes.  You put a name in google and it's all out there.  I have a different user name here.  He doesn't know I post here so I can "let it all hang out".  And for those times when I'm really bad and just need to vent, I have a blog no one knows about.  It's very therapudic.
