Try to stay away from over stimulating surroundings. Stop drinking caffeine and cut out all sugar, processed foods, this helped me a lot. If you have no other health issues try a B-complex vitamin supplement and take extra niacin and thiamine with it at bedtime to help with sleep. A good website that has alot of commonsense advice is DoctorYourself.com, not selling anything but an excellent source of research for alternative med. I am not on any meds at ll right now, it is hard sometimes but the healthier your body is, the better you will feel overall. Try not to dwell on your diagnosis and regulate your sleep as best as you can.
