Hey there....It's been awhile since I posted. I've been pretty stable these past few months. Sure I have my days, but they don't last very long. So here I am now debating on going back to school. I've been away from it for a year now. The idea of bringing the stress and pressure back into the mix of things scares me. I don't want to go backwards. I know I'm probably the most stable I've been in the last 18months but I work really hard to avoid stressful situations. A good friend of mine says "you never know if you can do it, until you try." deep down I know she's right, but it doesn't erase my fear. Would you risk stability?
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Can you take just ONE class that you will like or that should be easy for you?  Stress management skills are like a muscle.  They need a little exercise to make them stronger, but pushing to far will break them down.

My advice is to go back to school. It's hard and stressful, but like tortoise said, try one or even two classes. I wouldn't suggest taking more than three, I learned that the hard way, Start off slow, get yourself into a routine and go from there. Good luck!

I agree with taking just one class at a time. Don't overload yourself trying to do everything you used to be able to do. Take it slow.

The more I try to avoid stressful situations the more I feel trapped and stressed. I think it is important for one to expose to stressful events, not too little nor too big.
