Actually im not surprised that pot worked well on you, it is after all a basic all around "chill Pill" type of drug. LOL LOL LOL
For me it was buddism, excercise, and my dog that has helped me greatly. I have worked hard to pay my bills (no financial stresses) keep emotionally stable, and above all practice acceptance in all i live and do. This plays out in several ways, in no particular order.
I allow the small mistakes, while avoiding the big mistakes. Is it better to make one 1000.00 mistake, or 5 10.00 mistakes? To me its all about severity of mistakes. I can recover much easier and faster from 50 dollars of mistakes then one 1000 dollar screwup. Does that make sense?
I dont expect myself to be perfect. My mind is screwed up, and all im trying to do is live comfortably without a major mess up. So if i mess up in a small way, then thats part of being human. I still try to limit the small mistakes, but i accept and forgive them when they occur.
I have had great respose to respirdal, but its a strong drug that can mess up your liver. So i use it as needed. Like i said earlier, i have to really pay attention each and every day. The minute you think you got this thing beat, is normally when it sinks its teeth into you in a new and painfull way. LOL LOL LOL
Finally my dog has been great for me. He is a absolute rock of stability in a crazy world. His love and devotion has helped me get thru many a rough night. Their love is absolute and complete.
