I can relate to the extra pound or two. Got depressed and put on 25 pounds over the last 4 months. I've lost 13 so far and am working hard at the dieting but I am a night eater as well. In fact, I can go all day without eating and scarf up a whole days worth of calories within a few hours of bedtime. I've never gotten up in the night to eat as the article mentions, although you'd think I'd had a full meal cooked in the night by how many dishes my kids can create first thing in the morning.
I think I eat in the evening because I'm more relaxed when the kids are in bed and I don't have to interrupt my meal countless time to wait on them. I tend to eat too fast and too much when I try to eat with the kids. Just stress eating I guess.
Good article

The medicine that I take has directions to take with milk or food. And I take this medicine right before bed.  If I don't take this med with food or milk it does upset my stomach at night.  When I do take this med with food or milk, it does digest better.  However, I feel like I don't want to consume the extra calories at night.
