Hi all. Yes the mania....
However bi polar is best managed in three ways.
First, the right meds....typically anti deoressants are useless unless in combo with a mood stabiliser and last a psychiatrist skilled in this disorder.
Self compassion is crucial as is understanding and ya spot on here. I have had 3- 3 plus months hospitalizations and a dozen shorter every med on the planet including ECT.
I am stable....mostly. The stigma only lessens via educating the ignorant...something i am keenly involved in from a lived experience role with key stake holders.
I utilise a bi polar support service also and am involved in a genetic study of bi polar. It is all about
as posted caring understansing compassion and about
us educating the masses.
Bar borderline personality disorder and schizophrenia it is the most complex beast.
Was dx with borderline and briefly at one time a episodic period of schizophrenia.
Keep being strong and have accountability for ones self...this is imperative. Learn the warning signs and triggers...an action olan can and usually will eliminate a crisis that is brewing.
Asking for help is a sign of strength....big time. We got to be proactive. Many healing thoughts. HT
