Hello.A few weeks ago i posted that I had a lot of side effects with Seroquel and with Latuda. It s been two weeks that I have been on Risperidone and I feel really good.I started out with one half of .05 mg and was supposed to go up to .05 after a week .I decided to stay on one half of .05 for another week just to make sure that my body was accepting this drug. I will stay on one half of .05 for as long as I feel that I do not have to go up to .05mg.This is a very small dose and so far, the only side effect is insommia so, instead of taking it at night I take it with my breakfest. This drug has a possibility of a long list of side effects so, if it keeps working at the smallest dose that I can take,so be it.

Good it helping. All meds have the possibility of side effects. Most are usually at start up. I learnt ling ago to push thru the few weeks and it woyld pass as the body accepted it.

At this dose ya very safe my friend. Thx for posting. HT

I'm glad you've had success with the Risperdal so far, Perfect Time, because it's so important for those of us with mental illness to be on the right psychiatric medication(s). Take it from somebody who knows.

I know what you mean when you say you almost felt guilty for feeling so good. We are depressed so much of the time that feeling good is almost a foreign feeling for us.

I am real happy for you. And I love being able to help others.

Thank you...

Hugs, Karen...

I've never felt guilty about feeling good because I believe that I deserve to be happy.

I don't have the right to always be happy. But I want to be mostly happy, and with good reason.

I went through it Mike. One day I felt good and it scared me. I was so use to having turmoil in my life and being depressed that feeling good scared me. I felt I didn't have that right. I know better now.

Have a good day all!

Hugs, Karen...
