It's not so easy knowing limitations when you excelled in the past. I have to learn as time goes by.

You said, "It's not so easy knowing limitations when you excelled in the past. I have to learn as time goes by."

I've heard a saying that goes,

"Don’t mourn the loss of something we once had, appreciate that it ever occurred."

It's great that you did excel in those. Relive them.

I've also heard, when one door closes, another one opens.

I've also heard, "Appreciate what you do have, don't dwell on what you don't."

Another one goes something like, "Even with all the bad times, it also means we're still alive."

Sometimes a road in my neighborhood is no longer available to me. I tell myself, but think of all the roads that are still available to you. It is the open road in my mind that is telling me that.

Over time you realize they are inevitable.

I'm 60 and 2yrs ago I finally adjusted a Chronic progressive disorder in my neck

Last week I started using a cane
Wheel chair forecasted 8-10yrs
I believe that is best case..

I have decide to enjoy what I can when I can
May not remember it
But I will know now

I wish you compassionate acceptance and peace
