confused  I have just in the last month been diagnosed bipolar although now that I have read everything I can get my hands on I realize I have been BP all of my life.  My daughter, who is 32 is also BP and she was dx about 5 yrs ago.  I have lost a really good friend who just didn't understand my last crash (it was at work) and I almost lost my job.  I feel humiliated because all my coworkers now just think I'm plain "Crazy" No one wants to take the time to understand my disease and I work with NURSES.

Hi Lazy,
Welcome to Healingwell. I'm sorry you've found so little support up until now. There is so much ignorance about this disorder, even among the medical community. Hopefully you will find here what you've been lacking elsewhere, support and understanding.
This is a wonderful site, full of caring, supportive people.
Hope to "see" you around
Good judgement comes from experience and alot of that comes from bad judgement.
