before i left al, i went to see my pdoc and we discussed my inability to get to sleep and to stay asleep. he first suggested a sleeping pill and i told him that i didn't need addiction to sleeping pills along with my other problems. he then suggested METATONIN 3 mg, which is a occurs naturally in the brain telling the brainit's time to turn off the lights. it is not habbit forming, it's over the counter, and it's cheap. what more could a jew ask for? i have been taking one a night about
2 - 3 hrs before going to bed and it has worked beautifully.
according to my pdoc, it is effective about 25% of the time. but it may well be worth a try if you are like i have been with speep problems.
hope my experience helps someone.
