That's it. I just can't do this anymore. My wife blames everything around us on my bipolar, so maybe if I'm gone she'll have to grow up and act like a adult for once.

Dear Ridnihi,
Don't do it! If you read the many posts on this site you will see a lot of people fighting for their wellness. Living with bi-polar isn't easy but once your doctor finds the right balance of meds for you, you'll be feeling better. It does take time though through trial and error. But hang tough with the program.
Are you seeing a therapist? That is something that is major to have in your life while you are working with your pyschiatrist with the meds. Your therapist will help you find the right coping mechanisnms for dealing with your bi-polar. Having a therapist is the best thing you can do for yourself right now since you are not receiving much support with your family. Your therapist will help you get through this. He/she might even invite your wife in for a session to learn more about bi-polar disorder.
Don't throw in the towel. You will get well. Just because the people around you don't support you doesn't mean you can't get the support you need. Please ask your pyschiatrist to help you get an appointment with a therapist a.s.a.p.
Good luck to you. And learn from reading the posts on this site. We are here for you. Please keep us informed as to how you are doing.
Sincerely, ~Sukay~*
