How do i know what my mood really is and whether or not it's counter productive to my chance of getting better? Depression is easy to spot,but after climbing out the ditch of depression how do you know if you're mood is normal or if i'm continuinting to climb up into the manic mountain top? I would very much like to go and do things without fearing myself, but as soon as i come up with all these productive plans i worry that it's mania/hypomania so i don't know what direction to take with my life :(

I also feel that way myself... I guess ifyou do just one thing. for one week. and limit the times. then see if you are manic. before taking on another new thing... I just got a part time job and I am really scared at what coudl happen if I get manic at the job. but I have to still keep living.

Hi there shine , is there anyone close that you could trust to tell you if they thought your mood was going towards manic? Sometimes it's easier for someone else to spot.
