Three days and counting until my appt. with my pdoc. on monday at 7 pm. I can't wait. I didn't take the provigil yesterday and it made a major difference. Not much anxiety - and my mood was very stable. I felt great. I knew I had a long day ahead of my today so I took 1/4 of the provigil this morning and i am a ball of nerves already. Oh well......Monday can't come soon enough.
I am going to my mom's for a jewelry party tonight and I plan to spend the night. My sister is home from school (college) and my other sister already lives there so we are planning an all girls sleep over pajama party! I can't wait! It's just what I need. I am proud of myself for continuing to focus on myself.
Michael is in his 7th day @ Lauerlwood today and has 2 more full days for the partial hospitalization program. After that, I think there will be a less intensive outpatient program, but we are waiting for more information. So far, so good, but I know that it is still early and I am still very focused on myself and my boundaries. I can say that I am proud of him for making it this far. Quite honestly, I am shocked. He seems to like his pdoc at laurelwood and have a good relationship with the counselors. he enjoys talking about their group topics and the lessons for the day. His group leader is a young sports fan, like he is, so its someone he can relate to. Only time will tell......
