I got a copy of the mri report from my doctor.. It states the following..  The exam demonstrates diffuse fibrocystic changes.. Multiple benign cysts are seen:   Impression: There is nothing to suggest cancer, but there are findings that warrant reporting as benign intrammary lymph nodes, involuting, calcified fibroadenomas, fat containing lesions, multiple secretory calcifications.....  What the heck is all this..  what should I do... can all of this wait one year... these changes have taken place in the past year... I am 46 is this a normal report??

I had a CT scan that had about the same type of gobbledy gook and even the surgeon I was seeing laughed at it. He said radiologists tend to cover everything to save their own hide. I still suggest seeing a breast specialist is always best. I wouldn't want to wait a whole year. Let us know what you decide. Hugs MK

You might try searching for the terms at Lots of good information there. YOu sould be able to decypher the medical jargon. Good luck. Lauri (dxed 04/11/1996)
