Hello, sorry I haven't posted lately but I have been to the doctors about everyday since Friday, which was first ongologist visit.  Dr. said that I need to have chemo asap, because I have a fast growing cancer.  He send me to have alot of test this week from node biopsy to PET scan. He called and left a message saying that my scan came back abnormal, with a suspicious spot on my back.  Now I have to go back to the hospital tommorrow for a ct scan, ultrasound, and possible biopsy of my back.  I have had a lump in the upper left side for years, I was always told it was because I have scholiosis (sorry if I spelled it wrong).  Basically they are putting me in the stage IV range. Has anyone else out there been in this predictament? If so any information would be greatfull.

I don't have any experience with what you are going through, but wanted to just let you know that we are all here for you.  Sounds like you have a journey ahead of you.  Is the spot on your back that the PET picked up the same one you are referring to?  If so, that's terrible that you were told it was because of something else.  The biopsy and further tests will give you more information.  Hopefully, it will be good news.  I hope you don't suffer too many side effects from chemo.  Did your onc tell you which meds they would use?
Hang in there.
L & H,
