and am really tired. I still cannot believe this whole thing happened. I remember asking myself where I had been to get just the one arm sunburnt. My medically trained daughter had to tell me what it was. No wonder I had such a bad night on last Sunday.
So, I am going to take this lympedema thing just a little more seriously. Luci, you're right, some doctors do have a thing to learn about this condition.
I'm off to have prescriptions filled and go back to bed.
I want to thank everyone for their concern, flowers, cards, and phone calls. They brought life to my hospital stay. Several ladies managed to bring the conversations to a "depends" moment. I love every one of you.
Love, a sadder but wiser, Jo-Ann

Hey Jo-Ann
So glad you're home.  I don't think we laughed, sorry about that.  We talked too much politics, I think.LOL.  I bought you some tap shoes, though.  Used that line a few times in the past few days, got people remembering what you reminded me of.    I'm so glad you're mending and will be taking better care of yourself.
Wish me luck on my appointments today.  I know you're with me, babe!
Welcome home!
Take care, yeah

I am so happy that you are home.  Take care of yourself and rest, rest, rest.

Jo-Ann, Good to hear you are home!! Now be a good girl, OK! Sometimes I feel like people think I am over reacting about caring for cuts, etc, but you can bet I will stay on top of it after hearing what you went through! Love you and take care, Gail

Dear Jo-Ann...
So glad you are back at home.  Take care, my friend.  And lay off the rototiller for a few days, anyway, okay?
Love and hugs...

Home at last and I am so happy you're there, Jo-Ann. Thank heavens you went to the urgent care asap. Sorry you had all of that IV misery, but you know I only want for you to be well. When you're feeling better think about making your dr. aware of the fact that you didn't get the antibiotics you needed immediately. Sometimes the drs. are just plain stupid. Anyway, my friend, you keep taking the oral antibiotics and rest a lot. An infection like the one you have had really saps your strength. I am so glad you're home. Sending you xxx's and ooo's from here, Luci.

Jo-Ann I have to tell you I do not know when Vic and I have laughed like that. I called you to make you laugh and next thing I know Vic and I are really just about on the floor laughing. I can not tell you when I have enjoyed a phone conversation more. That was really a riot. The next morning Vic and I poured our coffee in our mugs and started all over again. That was really a hoot. Glad to see you home. Please be careful. I know life happens, but try to be more careful. Love and hugs, Us.

Welcome home, Jo-Ann! I was ready to launch an all-out jail break, so glad you got sprung. And more important that you feel better and are comfortable...
