yeah   yeah Hi, Everyone, well, it's Thanksgiving week and I know we're all very busy.  I wanted to wish EVERY one of you a wonderful Turkey Dayfilled with family time and all good things.
I don't expect to be on the board a whole lot this week.  Happily, DS and his fiance are coming in from the East coast on Wednesday so I will have my whole family together for the holiday.
I'm praying hard for easy tx's for those facing them and for cont'd good health for ALL of us.  Everyone, enjoy your turkey and fixings.  Personally, I will give thanks for having found this wonderful board and all of you on it, who are always there with encourgement, hugs and laughter.  Thank you all, Love, Luci

What a wonderful thought, Luci, giving thanks on Thanksgiving for all of our very special breast friends and sisters. I, too, pray for those struggling with their health and give thanks for those of us who have been blessed with a lesser struggle. I hope you have a wonderful week with your family and enjoy that grandson as he grows and learns more about the holidays. Many hugs and prayers for you and yours, MK

Yes, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone.  I am very grateful for many things and will definitely be giving thanks this year.  Thanksgiving is always bittersweet for my family, though.  Our mother died on Thanksgiving day 11 years ago.  In fact, it was the 25th, which is what T-day falls on this year, too.
I wish you all a great day filled with happy times with family.  After all, that is what's most important in life!
Try not to eat too much!!!  What am I saying???  LOL
Love and hugs,

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Miss Luci. This is your first Nevada Thanksgivng. So glad that you will be surrounded by family.
This has been a difficult year for our on-line family. We have lost many dear, sweet sisters. And, we all know that the losses will continue. Yet, we must stop and give thanks for our friendships, for health, for medical care and effective treatments. One of these days I pray that we will be giving thanks for a cure. Happy Thanksviging to everyone. Hugs and love, Lauri

Well Happy Thanksgiving to you also. I know you are going to have a wonderful holiday. Quilting lesson and all. I just wish the rest of the world could have one as nice as I am sure yours is going to be. Thanksgiving we have worked out nicely. I cook for the shut ins this holiday and spend Christmas with my family. One of the other ladies has her family for Thanksgiving and not Christmas so she cooks then. My children spend Thanksgiving with in-laws and we spend Christmas together. Seems to work for the kids. They appreciate my remembering what eating two dinners and doing dishes in two houses was like. I swore I would never do that to my kids. I do have a question. Are you still at the same email. I sent asking for your recipe for the oreo cake. Should I try again? Happy Turkey Day to everyone. Love and Hugs, Joyce

Hi all, and Happy Thanksgiving too! I am packing up to head out of town to be with Leigh's family, should be interesting. We're all staying at his brother's house, it will be a little crowded!

As everyone else, I am so thankful for so many things. My 5 year anniversary is coming next week on the 30th, it was the Tuesday after T-giving in 1999. I can hardly believe it, and can hardly believe all those we have lost in these 5 years.

Love, hugs and turkey joy to you all-
