Thank you Bev. Happy Thanksgiving to you too, and everyone here. I am truly thankful that I found my breast friends on August 11, 2000. You all are always there for me when I need you. L&H, Gail

Thanks I am giving for all of you!!!! You are such a big part of my life. As I read your posts I picture those of you I have met. Bev's beautiful blue eyes came into focus here.

My turkey is stuffed and in the oven, pies and rolls were baked yesterday. Special Jello salad we love with turkey dinner is made. Yes it is made with green Jello, but it is diluted with Lemon Jello, cream cheese, pineapple and walnuts. We have to have this green stuff when we have turkey and turkey leftovers for some unknown reason. All I have to do yet is peel potatoes, make some fruit salad and some other veggie that probably no one will eat or even care about. LOL. Hope you are all having a wonderful day.

I'm thankful for this place and I hope you each have a day filled with love & laughter. May we all put cancer out of mind and look around us and take in all that we have to be thankful for...

Dear Friends,

I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. When I give thanks today as we gather around my son's table, I will be thanking each one of you for being there for me.

Denise offers her thanks to all of you as well.

Enjoy and be safe!

Hope that each and every one of you have had a wonderful holiday. My daughters cooked dinner (God Bless them) since I am still recouperating from the knee surgery.

I am so very thankful for you all.

God Bless,

Mother and I enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with DD, SIL and DGD Melanie Rose in Indiana. SIL did most of the cooking, including a delicious pumpkin pie. We are tickled to hear Miss Melanie starting to put real words together. She even said, "punkin pie" yesterday. And, gobbled up a small slice.
In the meantime, DH and DS took a break from deer hunting in Minnesota and ate dinner with SIL's parents. Talk about turn around. The mighty hunters headed back to the woods today to see if they could bag another deer. DS got an 11-point buck during their first hunting expedition. He was pretty excited about it. Looks like we will have a freezer filled with venison for another year. Glad to see that everyone had a good holiday celebration. DM and I head for home tomorrow. Say a prayer or two that we have reasonable driving weather. I am not looking forward to another day of rain like we had last Wednesday. Clouds are OK, just no rain or snow.
Sending hugs and love to all, Lauri

Bet it really warmed your heart to hear little Melanie say punkin pie. How cute she must be! I'm glad you had Thanksgiving with her. Hope you do have great weather for the trip back home. I loafed all day today resting up from yesterday and the day before. Hugs MK

Happy Turkey day weekend to Bev and everyone. Sure hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I have to admit I am a coward. I can not bring myself to even look at my scale, never mind actually get on the thing. I know one thing I am praying when I do I find out the battery has died and I will put off buying one for the thing until after the new years. Yep sounds like a plan.Tee hee and hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend. L&H JOyce

LOL Joyce, you could always dislodge it just a bit so it won't work. Jo-Ann told me about some diabetic vitamins she got that are making her nails strong, so I went looking on the internet. I found what I thought was correct, bought a couple months supply and find that I didn't get what she told me, but these seem to be cutting my appetite. Now if I could just remember to take the darn things twice a day. I seem to remember once in the am when I take the rest of my Rx but never remember second one. Will let you know if they do any good in the long run. Hugs MK
