Today was Linda's surgery....

She had a lumpectomy and a sentinel node biopsy.

I am happy to report that the node biopsy was all negative and the lumpectomy went off without a hitch.

We are back home now enjoying tomato soup and cheesy bread, watching old VHS videos of Austin City Limits (John Prine's "It's a Big Old Goofy World" seems appropriate).

We meet with the doctor again in a week to get more definitive results and plan the next step, but we feel good tonight.

Hugs to all.

Sounds really good so far, Frank. Glad all went well. Pamper that lady of yours for a few days. Then invite her to join our discussion. Stay warm, Lauri

Sounds great Frank. Good news with negative nodes. Lumpectomy is easy to recover. Sounds like you will have a great holiday. Will Linda have treatment afterwards? Radiation? Chemo? Thanks for checking in and give Linda a hug from me. Lauri gave good advice to pamper her, too. Hugs MK
