I hate leaving things undone. My house looks like a tornado zone. My alarm thinks a zone is open when it is not. My kitchen sink is backed up. My computer is infected with a malicious script, that even when I remove it, it comes back. Norton can't find it and it won't let me download the ad-aware program. I am beside myself with frustration.  And my car needs an oil change.
Woke up to at least 6" of snow this morning and had to come to work....and I have (hopefully) a 3:00 flight out today. That meant having to spend 2 hours this morning with the snow blower, shovel, roof rake, etc, only to watch more snow fall and cover it up. I am terribly anxious about leaving my house since I have a history of ice dams and leaking.
And Tavish is with Leigh, which has tended to go ok...the poor dog gets along with him now, but refuses to be taken out to do his business. Seems the plants have been working just fine as an indoor toilet for him, and once it gets really cold this weekend, he will surely refuse to go out.
Wish me luck in getting out of town, and in being able to relax and let go of my problems that are waiting for me when I return.
Happy Holidays to all, and stay warm!

Hi Lori,
Yes, I hope things improve for you. I too can't stand the snow this time of year. I was supposed to go to Dean's family dinner today and once again I had to disappoint him. I am leaving tomorrow for Chicago, I hope. I want to go to church with my parents. I am afraid that this may be the last time for that.
I am ready to go. Hope you have no damage to your home. Hope all of our animals use their litter boxes or whatever. Love, Di

Ho Ho Ho!!!

Hope you both get to your destinations safely, with time to spare. I understand how you feel about your house. When I flew from L.A. to Boston last year I had just finished chemo three days before, hadn't cleaned my house in months, and fell asleep in the terminal in Minneapolis and nearly missed my flight. LOL It's funny now, but back then . . .

Wishing you the best of everything this beautiful season has to offer.

Love to you both,

Hope you have a fun and safe trip.  Relax and rest up for what might be waiting, which I pray is nothing.

Happy Holidays,

Many Holiday Blessings to All

I am sending a Fairy out to you to clean your house, unstop your sink, snow blow your driveway 24-hrs a day, change the oil in your car and administer Correctol to Tavish if needed.... anything else? oh yes, that malicious script... have you downloaded adware? go to and look for the free adware download, that might help... why is Norton blocking your download?? hmm... strange...

anyways, i hope you come home to find everything fixed, no leaks and happy memories of the holiday, which, after all, is all that REALLY matters!
big hugs, dear friend! good luck with flying and no cancelled flights!
happy holidays
