Hi Everyone!

We're still relatively dry. We've had nearly 12 inches of rain since the first storm arrived Friday. Many roads are out, but I'm not going anywhere for a day or two. My daughter Theresa left work a little early to avoid some of the heaviest rainfall. She works in a brand new industrial complex, but she has to go through 3 or 4 miles of bad, rural road to get there unless she takes the freeway, which she did.

Thank you all for thinking of us. We have the tail-end of this storm to get through, and then we have sunshine for the next week or so.

Di, what's going on with you? I loved the card you sent, but didn't get my act together in time to send any out. Give us an update, my friend.

Hi Rita,
I think of you so much! It is just awful to see the pictures of the storm. The mountain looks like it was cut in pieces. I'm so happy to hear from you and know you are ok. I've been worried about your house too. Sometimes the news makes things look even worse. I hope that is the case.
I Am just fine. I've been gone to see family in Chicago and visit NW Indiana too. Then I had company here. So I'll get back to normal now whatever that is.
I am see a wonderful physical therapist for my arm. I hadn't moved it for a year and a half and luckily the breast surgeon kicked my _ _ _ and make me do something about it. My shoulder rotated at 0 degrees and we are up to 20 now. It is helping with my lymphadema too. She has taught my a lot. I raise my arm in the air and punch making a fist.
Then bring it down and open my hand. I do this hourly. We'll see how much it helps and I'll show everyone. Not moving has made the lymphadema worse.
Love you and keep in touch, Di

I am so glad the rain is over.  I am sick of it.  I have a new leak in the roof where our addition was put on in 2003.  I've called the contractor to see if it's guaranteed.  It should be.  Waiting to hear back.  Hooray for sunshine!!!
