Hi folks I am new to this forum and I want to say thank you for making feel comfortable with myself.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer in  10/08. After a Pet scan in May, I was told that a breast cancer lesion was in my lung. It went from 15mm to 10mm at the time of the biopsy.  My doctor said that it has shrunk and she would keep me on Tamoxifen.  I am grateful for her.  My last doctor did not put me on Tamoxifen after chemo and radiation and the cancer came back.  My new doctor started me immediately on Tamoxifen and is working hard to keep me alive.
I feel like I am in a daze most of the time.  I am in disbelief that this is happening to me.  I am no longer working, my life has gone through a 360 degree turn and I am now trying to get it back to a normal life.  Thank all of you who are at stage 4 for making me feel that there is life with stage 4 cancer.

Hi, there, Soca. I'm glad you round your way here. I've been kind of out of the loop the last week or so, so sorry I missed your post. Sounds like you have a good oncologist now, and that Tamoxifen may be the thing that keeps you with us for many years to come. So why are you not working? Is that by choice, or is it by the bad economy? Just curious. Would love to hear more of your story.

Hugs to you...
