The news wasn't what we had hoped. The MRI shows growth. The choices for treatment are Full head radiation, or full head radiation with chemo. She will start radiation on Monday. Today was an especially hard one for she and  Mike. It wasn't at all what we expected.  I went over this afternoon and stayed with her while Mike kept an appointment.  She is tired and disappointed. To top it off she had to see the doc she least likes at the group. Fortunately, her radiation doc is great.
That's all the news I have for now. I'll try to keep you all "posted" (Ha, cute huh? We need to keep smilin')
Thank you for being here.
Hugs, Angela

Shoot, this does not sound like a pork chop bone. Is the cancer in her bones of her skull/ face? Or is it in her brain? I could not recall what the outcome was when she was having the facial pain and swelling.

Darn cancer, I hate it.

Prayers and hugs for dear Beck...

Thanks for letting us know, Angela. I know it was hard to post the news. We need to keep her in our prayers along with Shells and Jen Possible right now. I also understand another old friend from the old hood is not doing too well and could use some prayer help, too. I am not sure she would appreciate being mentioned here but my heart goes out to her and her little girls. That should be enough of a clue for everyone to add a prayer in her direction, too. Sad, sad, sad................... Hugs MK

Praying for the wonderful ladies mentioned above. Some days this site is just so sad. But I know that we can rally and bring each other "up". That is what is so special about this wonderful place. Friends are here to support one another and that is what we do the best!

I hate coming to the board to read posts like this.  My prayers are with Becky and her family and all the others who are struggling.  Including our friend from the other site.  Wish she would post here so we could all let her know we are here for her too.

God Bless and keep you all,

sad  I am so sorry to hear this.  I just don't know what to say.  My heart is breaking for Becky and her family.  She has been through so much and fights so hard, yet keeps that famous smile of hers.  Thanks for the update, and yes it is not what we wanted to hear.  Please tell Becky she is in my thoughts and prayers and hoping the radition kicks butt.   Sending hugs and prayers for you as well Angela.

Double darn!  I was just so sure that she had that cancer on the run.  Well, she's always in my prayers, so I'll just have to pray harder.  Thanks for letting us know, Angela, and big hugs and many prayers for you, too.

Not such good news for Becky.  Wish I was reading something better, but then I'm sure Becky is wishing the news was better too.  Gosh, how I hate this wretched disease.  Thanks, Angela, for keeping us up to date. L&H's for Becky and her family. Luci

Its nice to know she has you by her side... I'm praying for you also, hope you are able to get some rest for the days ahead..
