I know everyone wants to send cards to Cathi.  This morning I called Ed Saunders at Cathi's office and asked him if we sent all the cards there if he'd deliver them all to her.  He goes everyday to the hospital and speaks to her a number of times a day, so he'll make sure "every single card that comes here gets to Cathi."
So here's the address:
Cathi Wilson
c/o State Farm Insurance
4571 Mayfield Road
South Euclid, Ohio  44121
Yesterday afternoon Cathi had an MRI of the brain; as of about 1/2 hour ago there was no news on the results.  She said her onc. will come to see her after 12:00 noon EST and hopefully will give her the results.
On another note, Cathi's daughter, Rachel, is a Physician's Asst. in the same hospital.  Cathi is on Rachel's floor in a VIP suite.  She said to me this morning.  "Here I am on a floor that has actual Room Service, so I could eat any time or anything that I want and I have no appetite."  Then she laughed and said "now, how unfair is that?"  That's our friend.
Re: phone calls:  I asked her about receiving phone calls.  She says she's just not up to taking them, and asks that we all be patient with her.  She does sound very weak.  Apparently, the vomiting and diarrhea were very bad last night.  As usual, she doesn't complain, rather she asked about all of you and how you all are doing.  Wish I could give you all better news.  Sending hugs from Cathi and from me.  Love, Luci

What a great idea to send cards to Ed to take to her. I will get one out tomorrow morning. I am so glad to hear she is in a WIP room, perhaps she won't mind being there so much, even if she doesn't feel like eating now, maybe they will get the nausea under control so that she does. Please tell her how much love we are sending her along with prayers that she gets to feeling better soon. It sounds just like Cathi to ask about everyone else, doesn't it? I am so upset that she is not feeling well. She has been feeling rough for a long, long time, I know. Love, hugs, prayers for Cathi and for you, too, for being such a great friend. MK

Thanks Luci, my card is in the mail for tomorrow pickup.  That's great that Ed will be dropping the cards off.  Work is very good to our Cathi.  Her VIP room (with room service yet) reminds me of the saying ... when my ship comes in I'll probably be at the airport.  Sounds like something I would do.
Prayers and Hugs for you and Cathi.  Love you, Libby

Hope she can enjoy that room service really quickly. Waiting while saying prayers for news about test results. Please say Hi for me with a great big hug and her note will be in the mail this evening.

Love and hugs, to both of you,

Hello Luci and Cathi,
I'm so glad that work is so very good. What a difference that can make. I am waiting for word of the test results with you. I pray also that you will be feeling much better soon and can enjoy the room service, Cathi. I'm also so glad that your daughter is there to watch over you. Sending lots and lots of love to you both, Di

Thanks Luci for letting us know. If I had known she was going to get VIP treatment I would have told her to go in sooner. She deserves a lot of pampering. I am so glad she is getting it. Thanks again for letting us know. Love to you both Joyce

I'm looking at her picture with her quilt right now.  I'll certainly be sending her a card.  I'm glad she's in a VIP room.  It's good for her.  Sounds like her spirits are kinda up, too, with the quip about the food.  I'm praying real hard here!!!!!
