Hey! Sorry to hear you're needing to come back here! Usually if you're at a breast center and have diagnostic testing done, the radiologist will speak with you, show you what they have been looking at, and explain why (or why not) they are concerned. If you are going in for a screening, you just get the test, thanks, and call your doctor in a day or two.
If you want a surgical biopsy instead of a needle anything, then there is no reason for your hubby to be there, unless you just really want him there for moral support. If you're comfortable with your current surgeon, I would think most any good surgeon would be capable of a simple biopsy. I had a surgeon who did a lot of breast surgeries, and he teamed very closely with my plastic surgeon, but his practice was definitely not limited to breast work.
Let us know how it goes, okay?
