Well, I had my last reconstruction surgery last Monday.  It went very well.  I am pleased with the results!  I have stitches taken out on Wed.  Had drain tube removed last Thursday.  So far, I am very happy with the surgery.  I am a bit smaller than I was B.C. which is a good thing.  I feel much better with a smaller chest and am on a diet have lost 13 pounds so waist is looking better.  I have my next onc visit on 6/14 so send up prayers.  I don't expect any bad news just a regular checkup but then  I never expected to have cancer once, much less twice....
By the way, I have never done whatever I need to do to get a copy of the list of names.  I would like to have a list so that I could send cards, etc. .  Whoever is in charge can email me at

Teresa:  Congrats on the completion of your reconstruction. Sounds as though you came thru w/ flying colors. Fantastic on the weight loss also. That is so hard to do when you are on chemo. I know how you feel about being in shock when you are told that you have a recurrance. I felt/feel the same way that you do. There are days that I am so mad and not a nice person to be around and then others I am fine. I have a very warped sense of humor (thank heavens my family and friends do also) that has helped me both times.

Sending lots of prayers for you onco checkup.

Gentle hugs...deb

Teresa, did you send your info to Jo-Ann? She is the one who does the list for us. Somewhere recently there is a post by her with info where to send yours and get put on the list, then she will automatically send you a list when it is done. Hugs MK
