Libby and everyone, thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I'm a little late responding because I've been truly enjoying my birthday. It started Friday night with a fabulous dinner (hired a sitter, too), and then got to have my very favorite lunch on Saturday (fried clams at Legal Seafood), then I had lots of retail therapy and bought new bedding and curtains for my bedroom (very romantic, I might add). Today our church service was filled with music (my favorite thing in the world, well one of many) and then I've been decorating all day with the new items.
DH made me breakfast in bed for the big day, and my kids even tried hard not to argue too much. I know what you mean, Lori, about how birthdays take on a new meaning after a BC diagnosis. SO TRUE!!!!!!
So, I'm just now getting on the board, which is unusual since I'm usually on every day because I work from home and have to check in every day. Thank you all so much - I'm so glad to have breast friends in my life - you all mean a lot to me!!!!!
Love & hugs,
The finger of God touches your life when you make a friend.
