When I got there I learned I was a month early.............................. The appointment lady called on Tuesday and told me Monday, August 29th at 2:15.  I wrote that down as she told me, but only circulated 29th at 2:15 through my thick head.  Wednesday I got paperwork to fill out and take with me, attached was an appointmdnt card that clearly said August, 29th, at 2:15pm.  Dementia, Dyslexia?  Can't blame chemo brain here. Just another one of life's embarrassing moments.  Oh well I am not going to worry until I know I have something to worry about, there is nothing I can do but wait.  Hugs MK

Forgive me for maybe reading into your "mistake," but perhaps you wanted to find out and were happier with the thought of a July appointment?????  Why would they wait over a month for a possible kidney problem?  You're dealing with an unknown, so shouldn't they move it up?
I know Freud said sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, but I wonder just how 'stupid' your 'mistake' was.  You're not crazy by any means, girl.  Weren't you somewhat dissappointed that you weren't starting the process of getting an answer today????
MK, I'm going to go a step further.  I'm not comfortable with this wait.

MK and I have been waiting together for answers for both of us. I am just outraged that she should have to wait another month.

I saw my neurologist on Wed and while my news is not good at all, at least I'm not waiting.

We all need to concentrate on her dr urging him to call her because someone else cancelled their appointment.

Yes, you are right Ellen, I did want to find out or at least get on the way to finding out. In that regard I was very disappointed, but on the other hand I should have known the only group of nephrologists and dialysis specialists would not have an open appointment that quickly. The test results that have already been done were sent to them and I understand that they were evaluated before an appointment was set, so maybe this is saying they are not concerned.

As for asking for an appointment if there is a cancellation, I am pleased with the name of the doctor I am going to see and asking for a cancelled appointment I may get one of the others. I want a doctor I can talk with who will understand what my body has been through the past eight years. Of course this guy may be an arrogant son of a gun, too, I don't know. LOL. I wish I didn't have to wait but I am not going to worry about it. Meanwhile I am resting all I can and not doing anything to put added stress or load on my body. LOL What an excuse to sit and read or whatever.

Thanks for your concern. We need to get Jo-Ann to de-stress her life, too. If that is possible for her. Let's all try.

Wishful thinking, or just a good old brain f***.  I have been so gassy lately, I hardly know when to go to bed.  Hope the month wait isn't to hard on you.  I have you in my prayers, dear one.
