I really cant wait for this year to be over. Not only because of my diagnosis, but last night my husbands brother passed away from pneumonia. He was severely mentally handicapped, and was 40 years old. My husband was very close to him, as they shared a bedroom for over 20 years. Robert was a pure soul. His face would always light up when Rich (my DH) was around, and would ask for K,K,K's (kisses).  Fortunately, he was surrounded by all those who loved him when he passed. The only good thing to come about from this year is our daughter. Thank God for her - she has been such a source of  joy, I'm not sure how we would've gotten through this year without her.
I'm sorry that I havent given all of you my holiday greetings -  I wish everyone here a healthy, happy  and peaceful new year. Thank you all for your help. Your support has been a life-saver.
See you on the other side of 2005.

I'm so sorry for your and your DH's loss.  I think we are given gifts in life, but a more important gift is to be able to recognize them.  Not everyone does.  I'm glad you do.
I, too, hope for a less eventful 2006.  Right now I just want stability (except of course I'll be looking at houses, moving's no biggie, is it???????)
I have this saying on a bumper sticker on the Mustang:  It's not on the new Rav, so one of my patients made a wooden sign of it for me:  This is for all of us:

Work like you don't need the money
Love like you've never been hurt.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother in law. I will say an extra prayer for you and your hubby. I know how you feel about 2005 I will be glad to put it behind me and get onto 2006. I have had enough stress in the last 5 months to last me a lifetime.

On another note are you done with chemo? Katt is on her last one and I have one today and one next week and Im done. Are you doing Taxol next?

It is always sad to lose a loved one, but at Christmastime and a special loved one makes it even more difficult. I'm sure the love of this special man made your husband a very special man, too. You have my sympathy and prayers. Some years are more difficult than others. I hope 2006 will be a wonderful one for you after this one. Love and hugs, MK
