She posted on the breast cancer board and then more recently on the bread baking and foods boards.  I got an email from her today asking for prayers.  She experienced really bad headaches after gardening in June and after many tests and trials, she has learned that it is brain mets.  She has a good attitude and is asking for prayers from everyone.  I will invite her to come and post here if she wants.  Hugs MK

Oh MK, I am so sorry to hear about Viv. she and I used to keep in touch and chat together. It has been some time though. I know she tried to not think about bc as much as possible as it filled her life for some time. I am truely sad to hear this.

Awww, this is just more sad news to hear today. I am sorry to know that she is facing more treatments. Hopefully the new drugs out there will do some good. Sending prayers and hugs, Lauri

What was her screen name, do you recall? That is sad news, sorry to hear it. I remember a Viv but can't quite make the connection.

I do remember Viv. She was especially fun at chats, as I recall. I'm so sorry to hear this news. I will send prayers her way. What an ordeal.

Thanks for letting us know.

Lori I can't remember her screen name. She did come to chats. She grew up in PA near Pittsburgh and I think she lives in MI now or maybe FL after MI. She mentioned both in her email to me. Vivianne keeping coming to mind. Duh I have my old index cards, let me see. That didn't help quickly. I will see if I can find it. Hugs MK
Here it is NKPA62 she lived in Burton MI back then or possibly still does.

So, Mary K -- you found me! LOL!! NKPA62 is my screen name everywhere I go. If I had another one, I would forget who I am! LOL!!

I read through the roll call posts and recognized so many names!

I don't live in Burton anymore. I live in downtown Flint now. If I ever got to Florida, I don't think I would have ever come back to Flint. But, I can't do that--I have family here. And, BTW--I have a 2 year old granddaughter! I have to see Codi grow!!

I moved into a senior living apartment complex about 3 years ago, and it was the best move I could have made for myself. There are a lot of wonderful people here, and when they found out what happened to me, they got together and prayed for me.

I posted at the end of the roll-call posts and explained what happened--most of what I sent you in email, MK.

Tavish? Lori--did you used to be Lori2000??

Gail--it's great to see you again.

MNLady13 I am hoping the new drugs can do it for me. I won't know until at least Monday if I have to have chemo--depends on the scans I am having done. I can have a 6 month mamm now, too.

I remember you too, Bev.

Deb, I don't believe we have met.

I thank all of you for your prayers.

Love and hugs, Viv :)

PS--MK notice that I am listening to you--I am not worrying about the tests. I am taking notes to talk to my chemo onc on Monday, but I am not going to worry until I have something to worry about.

The rad treatments--I have 3 left (of 20) and they helped me get back my walking and talking skills, which the dr said would happen--and it was almost right away. I thank God for that. I'm praying the rest of the rads took care of the 6 lesions and will have an MRI next week after rads are over. I don't remember as well as I did a few months ago, but I can live with it. Another reason/excuse for chemobrain--or just being blonde!
Hugs, Viv :)
