   mad   Hello,
Seroma had been healing awesome... then I got the flu and the flu caused me to puked 5 or 6 times and holy crap.  Seroma got so huge and it  happened to be Labor day weekend. Thank goodness the surgeon on call was awesome.
I saw the surgeon on tuesday.(150 mile commute and this flu was a doozy so I was still feeling crappy)
Dr. aspirated and the pressure was alot less irritating. Dr. said this excess fluid was due to a torn blood vessel and suggested NO more puking. eyes   This 2 week flu was as bad as chemo, I just don't have to do it over again and again and again! :-)   Still so tired, but on my way back to the real world! I can get the seroma aspirated by my local Dr., but I really want to let it heal like I did before! It is amazing that it was so much worse this time than after surgery!  It happend 7 weeks after surgey and the Dr. sais it WAS unusual but the timing of the flu just sucked!!!

Wow Karen! That had to really suck! I am sorry you had to go through that. I would have never thought about the flu causing that! I guess you learn something everyday.
Take care and NO MORE PUKING! LOL!
