I went and had the Dillon Scan back a month and a half ago to rule out cancer in the right breast, where I had been feeling a lump along the right side when I put my bra on. Nothing showed, and I felt much better....until two days ago.
I felt a lump sort of near my scar tissue, different part of the breast, wrote it off as scar tissue and me being my own hysterical self (I never felt a lump when I had one, so my imagination does stuff). Then last night, Bob felt something where I had originally felt something--along the right side. He later said he didn't, but he did stop there and check, so he must have felt what I felt. I'm thinking it feels bigger, too.
My insurance Co never covered the Dillon, but would have covered the MRI, which I never had. I'm thinking about calling the surgeon and asking for an MRI now, since it's covered. MRI's are known for false positives, but at least if I get a positive and it turns out to be false, I can ease my mind by getting a closer look.
