She is still sick, she has not even called the doctor.  From the sound of things she has been on a liquid diet for a long time because she is having trouble keeping anything down and in.  She did sound a little better, we laughed about several things.  She lost about 25 lbs, so we laughed that was a hard way to do it.  She is bored because she does not feel like doing anything, so she went to Walmart and bought some romance type books.  She laughed at me reading them the last couple of times she was here and I told her they were at least happy endings and made me feel young.  I guess her mother read them a lot and she swore she never would, so we really laughed at her going and buying them at full price when there are so many other ways of getting them cheaper.
I told her about Chris and she felt awful about those liitle girls losing their momma.
And she is still working on the computer when she feels up to it.  I've been trying to tell her to get a new one for all the years I have known her and she keeps buying components and rebuilding that one.  Even if the hardware is ok the software is ancient and the mixture of old and new can't be the best.  Oh well, she knows she is stubborn.  LOL

Oh, MK, she has got to go to the doctor! After all she's been through, you would think she would have learned not to ignore her health (and you can tell her I said so!) I can just see her obit...survived brca twice, gangrene, diabetes, brain bleeds, and was finally taken out by Montezuma's Revenge. Tell her to just get to the darned doctor, already! Her next stop should be at a computer store. I think she's just avoiding a cyber-butt-kicking. (It's so easy to talk tough about her when her computer's down, isn't it!!!)

Hugs to both of you...

I talked to Jo-Ann again. It seems her daughter has now come down with the flu J-A has had for three weeks. She has not been keeping the kids, thank heavens, it would be just like her to be on death's doorstep and keep those kids. She called me from the road, she finally got to the post office as we talked and her postal box was full. Then she planned on driving to a book store in Sherman which is a good ways from home. She said once again she could get her computer going if she just felt better. And she told me she would try to take a picture of how much weight she has lost to send me. I asked her how she would get it out of her digital camera and send it if she had no computer. Well, duh, she hadn't thought about that. Oh my what can we do with her?

Tell her the louisville slugger isn't just for husbands anymore~~~~~~~~~
I hope she gets a kick start somehow.  She sounds very depressed.  Keep on her MK

Thanks so much for updating us on Jo-Ann.  I think about her often and miss her postings.  Hope she feels better soon, of course it could be sooner if she called a doctor.  But......then I am not very good at that either so I should be more understanding.

Hope all is well with you and yours,
