I dont normally post over here, but wanted to share something that might be new info for some of you, or could be 'old hat', not sure.
My mom had breast cancer and has now finished her radiotherapy, a friend (also a breast cancer sufferer) recommended that she use something called Aloe Vera Gelly prior to her radiotherapy treatments to help with the burns.
The hospital tested it before they agreed and said yes.
My mom was the only one of 11 women in her 'group' at the time that looked like she has a mild suntan instead of the 'Burns', it really did seem to make a difference.
I feel a bit like a sales person here!  Im not!  I just wanted to share a snippet of info that could make things a little easier to bear.  I am pasting a link below to the only place I know it is available (has to be 100% Aloe or they wont let you use it), but I am not sure if a moderator will remove it.
I wish you all strength and support as you fight the fight with this terrible disease.
Hugs for you all

True, we are not supposed to "sell" stuff but passing along good advice can be ok. I looked at the site and since it is in the UK it is doubtful many would want to pay shipping, etc. It does look like a good product. MK

I used aloe vera gel during my rads treatments, too.  I never burned and I'm very fair skinned.  It's readily available here.
