Raiden, unfortunately I don't know much about the Marshall protocal. I have heard about it but don't know anything about it. I'm sure you can do an internet search and find out a lot of information about it. I am always cautious when I hear about a "cure".

I have had fibro and chronic fatigue, sugar makes it worse, and not sleeping, one of the things thats helped me is detoxing from mercury poisioning> my doc. did a special urine test to detect heavy metals and i was off the charts for mercury. which personally i think is the big hidden prob for those with fibro. You will have to go to a alternative doc. for this test but it will tell you alot. never stop serching.

Maybe it's because MP is a theory put forth by an electrical engineer with no background in medicine who basically believes that vitamin D is bad for you... I found lots of information on the web by real doctors and other health professionals who think it's not such a good idea. There is also information on Marshall's background and education, none of which includes medicine. Strange how none of the MP sites mention that lack of Vitamin D increases cancer risks and other huge health problems...rolleyes

Information about Trevor Marshall, Ph.D
Dr. Cannell Comments on the Marshall Protocol
I have had excellent success in treating my chronic fatigue and fibro with malic acid, 3200 mg a day. It's helped me feel much better than before I started it. I wish I could convince others to try it but I guess I'll just have to keep posting so people get the message.

The Marshall protocol works - too much vitamin D is NOT a good thing. It can cause increased inflamation in your body and also decreases the effectiveness of the immune system so that bacteria and viruses can come and go as they please.
There will always be non-believers but I question their motives.

I did this for three years and just got worse and worse before I finally gave up. It might work for some poeple but it didn't for me, I had BIG problems and ended up in hospital at one stage. I went from mobile to housebound with all the extra symptoms, and none of the so-called stratgegies they offered on the Marshall Protocol website helped one little bit. Some made me SOOOOOOO much worse.

My doctor northern England had several patients on it four years ago and only one is left because the others got sicker or got problems so severe they couldn't go on.

There was a weird atmosphere on those messageboards they run there, people treat Trevor Marshall like he is some kind of messiah and talk about believers and non-believers like its some sort of cult. They're like the peorson who posted above here, they question your motives if you don't get better. The people that get sicker just kind of dissapear and no-one else ever mentions them ever. I lost three years of my life to that treatment, don't do it.
