I was diagnosed many yrs ago with CFS. I had High EBV levels and was very Ill. I went on a special diet and after a year it went away. I was taking Hundreds of dollars of vitamins a month and eating only certain foods.

Now it came back, I got a sore throat one day and the fatigue came back.I cant afford all the Herbs and vitamins now but I changing my diet and trying to feel better. I am really depressed over the whole thing. Im going to do my best to get better.

I am so sorry Tommy. I guess we cannot trust that remission will be permanent.

I for one will not go on an expensive diet. I am still putting my family through high school and college.

Hey,  When I had CFS I started looking at my emotions.  THe dips that come from the disease were very connected to what I was thinking and feeling.
I have found that people with this disease come out of a lot of performance to please a parent during childhood and later.  Also, it is common to believe that the more do the sicker I will get. That brings on more negative emotions.  We can't be afraid of the disease.  Having fun and pushing through helps. The more I laid around and thought about what was happening the worse it got.  It is best to go do small things that can lead to doing bigger things.  Have fun.   turn
